Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on 1st February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own group of musicians with three classmates, which he called White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performances. In spite of always having always shown interest in music the man also had a dream of becoming the next lawyer or physiotherapist. While working in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles could afford to feed his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions in The X Factor. That's why his group was split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which was formed in the year 2010. They performed The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they made it to the finalists. The group was placed in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which took home the prize. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid two million pounds under a contract with One Direction.
