Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US and is a Greek-American writer, syndicated journalist and a businesswoman. She's the co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well as the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist TV personality, philanthropist, and TV host as well as the founder and publisher of The Huffington Post. Originating from Greece Arianna Huffington emigrated to England together with her family around the age of 16. At Cambridge University she earned a MA degree in Economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it at the age of 21. Then she became a conservative syndicated writer after the graduation ceremony and, when The Huffington Post launched a year later, she developed an online platform for voice with a critique of current political scenarios. Her fame has helped attract a number of famous contributors. Arianna became famous after she made the decision in 2003 to become an Independent Candidate for the California Recall election to succeed the Governor Davis. Alongside that, she also spearheaded an initiative in Detroit initiative to promote fuel-efficient vehicles. Forbes declared her to be as one of the "most important woman" in media, placing her at 12th. Guardian placed her on their list of the 100 most influential media people in 2009. AOL, Inc. appointed her President of their media division in 2011, after they purchased The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post also included the other AOL brands, including Engadget AOLmusic Style list and Patch Media. Elli was born to Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, and Elli, who are both journalist and management consultants. While she enjoyed a strong friendship with both of her parents, it was their bond that shaped her. When she was a teen she demonstrated leadership skills that she still is known for. at the age of 16 she moved into the United Kingdom to pursue her study and then enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. She enrolled in Cambridge Union, the Cambridge Union college debate society throughout her college years, where she was the third female to be elected president. In 1972, she graduated with an MA in Economics. In the years following her degree she became a columnist, critic as well as a TV host. She was on the show with Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing her own books with his aid.
